Model Objects and Identity
Introduction
This lesson opens chapter 8 in the Object-Oriented Programming section of PCAP-31-03, the heaviest section of the exam: 34% of the score and 12 of the 40 items. It covers objective 4.1 (core concepts: class, object, property, method, encapsulation) and the part of 4.5 that deals with how objects relate to one another and are compared. Roughly one question in three on the exam touches object-oriented code, and many of those questions are "trace this program and tell me what is printed" items. They are won by one skill: knowing precisely what a name refers to at each line.
