General conditions

Operator and hosting

OnLevelUp is a platform created by a community of IT experts to make learning and certification preparation easier. The project is run by an informal collective without an incorporated legal structure. Contact address: 11 avenue du 11 novembre 1918, 94400, France. Contact: contact@onlevelup.com. Publication director: Mustapha Nakous.

The site is hosted by OVHcloud in Canada. Provider information is available on the OVHcloud website (opens in a new tab).

Services and offers

OnLevelUp provides lessons, quizzes, practice exams and PDF study books. Certification names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, OnLevelUp is not the awarding organisation or its representative. Official exam registration and fees are the learner’s responsibility. No exam result is guaranteed.

Free lessons are available without payment. Quizzes, practice exams and PDFs require an account. A paid course opens its first chapter; full access requires an active subscription or a purchase of that course.

Monthly or annual subscriptions provide access to paid courses during the subscription period. An individual purchase provides lifetime access to the selected course, including updates, without a recurring subscription. It does not include other paid courses.

Languages, prerequisites and available materials are described on each course page. An up-to-date browser and an Internet connection are required. PDFs require a compatible reader.

Prices, orders and payment

Prices, currencies, applicable taxes, discounts and billing periods are displayed before the order is confirmed. The price confirmed at checkout applies to that order; later changes do not retrospectively change a paid purchase.

Stripe processes payments. An order is associated with the account used at checkout. Keep your confirmation and contact support if a payment has been taken without access being granted.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew at the selected interval until cancelled. The annual subscription is billed once for the whole year; an e-mail reminds you of the renewal date and amount about 30 days before it renews. You can schedule cancellation in your profile. It takes effect at the end of the paid period, with access continuing until that date. If needed, select “Cancellation” in the contact form. Cancellation requests sent to support are processed within 24 hours.

Cancellation alone does not trigger a pro-rata refund. It does not restrict any statutory refund entitlement. Deleting an account ends its access and removes progress; any subscription not already cancelled must be cancelled first.

Withdrawal and refunds

Applicable statutory rights, including withdrawal, conformity and refund rights, remain unaffected. Accessing a course is not described as automatically waiving all those rights.

Where an exception to a withdrawal right applies to immediately supplied digital content, its legal conditions must actually be met. Information provided before payment and its confirmation must match the service sold. See the refund policy.

The refund policy explains withdrawal periods, exceptions, a sample withdrawal statement and statutory guarantees. You can submit your request by email, contact form or post.

Affiliate programme

Participation in the affiliate programme is activated automatically after accepting these conditions and joining the programme from an OnLevelUp account. No prior manual approval is required. The following rules govern that participation.

Participation and sales attribution

Participation requires an OnLevelUp account and acceptance of the programme conditions. As soon as they join, the affiliate receives a personal sharing link and an area showing clicks, sales, commissions and payments. OnLevelUp retains the ability to disable or suspend participation.

A sale is attributed to the last valid affiliate link used by the buyer within the 30 days before their purchase. The affiliate cookie is placed only after consent to the “advertising” category. Without that consent, tracking through this cookie cannot attribute the sale. Purchases made by affiliates for their own account do not earn commissions.

Eligible purchases and commission calculation

Commissions apply to individual course purchases and monthly or annual subscriptions. Each distinct purchase attributed to the affiliate and successfully paid can generate a commission. For a subscription attributed to the affiliate, each successfully collected initial or renewal payment generates a commission, including after the original attribution cookie expires.

The applicable rate is communicated in the affiliate’s area. It may be a general rate or an individual affiliate rate. The rate in effect at each sale or renewal is recorded for that transaction; later changes do not alter commissions already calculated. A 20% rate used in an example does not guarantee a permanent rate.

Commissions are calculated in US dollars (USD), using the offer’s reference USD price, excluding taxes and after discounts. If the buyer pays in EUR, the same discount percentage applied to the EUR price excluding taxes is applied to the USD price excluding taxes. A fixed EUR discount is first expressed as a percentage of the EUR price excluding taxes before discount. The EUR payment is not converted into USD at an exchange rate.

Example: an offer priced at EUR 80 excluding taxes with a EUR 20 discount has a 25% discount. If its USD price excluding taxes is USD 100, the commission base is USD 75. At a 20% commission rate, the affiliate earns USD 15 before transfer fees. A fully discounted purchase earns no commission.

Cancelled subscriptions

A subscription’s link to the affiliate ends when the cancelled subscription actually ends. Commissions already earned remain subject to the validation, refund and dispute rules below. A subsequent subscription is not automatically linked to the former affiliate: a new attribution requires a new valid affiliate click within the 30-day window.

Validation, refunds and disputes

Each commission remains pending for 30 days after the relevant payment, then becomes validated if there has been no refund or payment dispute. A validated commission can then be requested for payment and marked as paid once the payout has been executed.

If a payment is refunded or disputed, the corresponding commission is deducted from the affiliate’s balance, including after validation or payout. The deduction concerns the commission, not the full sale price. If the commission has already been paid out, the balance may become negative; future commissions offset that balance. The same commission is not deducted twice for a dispute followed by a refund of the same sale.

Payment requests, fees and processing time

Balances, payment request thresholds and affiliate payouts are expressed in USD. OnLevelUp sets the applicable threshold in its settings and displays it in the affiliate’s area; these conditions do not guarantee a fixed EUR 50 or USD 50 threshold. Payment can be requested when the validated balance reaches that threshold, before transfer fees, and the required payment details are complete and valid. Only one request can be pending at a time.

Payouts are processed manually by bank transfer, including through Wise, or PayPal, depending on the chosen method. Affiliates do not need a Wise account to receive a transfer into their bank account. Transfer fees are borne by the affiliate and deducted from the requested amount. Payment history shows the gross amount settled, fees and net amount sent in USD; fees are not deducted from the balance a second time.

A complete and eligible request is processed within a maximum of 7 business days. This processing period is separate from the 30-day commission validation period and from bank or payment provider delivery times.

Payment details

Affiliates enter and update their details in the “Payment details” section of their Affiliate area: account holder, country and banking details required for the transfer, or PayPal email address. Affiliates must check their accuracy before requesting payment.

These details are encrypted and used to make payouts. An encrypted copy of the selected details is kept for each request to document its payment. Later profile changes do not alter the details of a request already created. See also the privacy policy.

Use and support

Access is personal. Account, security and permitted-use rules are set out in the terms of use. Report issues through contact. Technical interruptions do not remove remedies available under applicable law.

Complaints and disputes

First send a complaint to contact@onlevelup.com, including the order reference. French law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their country of residence. If an amicable agreement cannot be reached, jurisdiction is determined under applicable rules; these conditions do not impose exclusive jurisdiction on consumers.

Version dated 21 October 2026. The terms accepted when ordering remain the reference for that order, subject to applicable mandatory rules.
