The Scrum Events

Introduction

This lesson belongs to the focus area Understanding and Applying the Scrum Framework of the PSM I assessment. Scrum.org does not publish how many questions come from each focus area, but the events are tested heavily, both through direct knowledge (timeboxes, who attends, what is produced) and through situational questions ("the Developers want to skip the Retrospective, what should the Scrum Master do?"). The 2020 Scrum Guide (https://scrumguides.org/scrum-guide.html (opens in a new tab)) defines five events: the Sprint, which contains and wraps the other four, Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, the Sprint Review and the Sprint Retrospective.
