Introduction

This lesson covers Domain 8, Software Development Security (10% of the exam, ISC2 exam outline effective 15 April 2024), tasks 8.1 to 8.5: understand and integrate security in the software development life cycle (SDLC), identify and apply security controls in software development ecosystems, assess the effectiveness of software security, assess the security impact of acquired software, and define and apply secure coding guidelines and standards. It is the last content lesson of the course; the three mock exams follow.
